Imperfectly Perfect Campaign
The Imperfectly Perfect Campaign aims to change the conversation around mental health by dismantling stigma through authentic storytelling. These stigmas tear at the very fabric of society, where basic human decency and understanding are often forgotten.
One common stigma suggests mental health challenges start and end quickly, that people can simply “snap out of it.” The reality is far different. Behind faces that appear fine from the outside, there are battles we often don’t want to hear or acknowledge.
“Have you ever hated yourself and your life so much that you wanted to kill yourself? I have.” — Robert Mack
People struggling with mental health face constant internal battles. They’re isolated, labeled, and fighting exhausting wars against silent enemies every moment of every day.
“I have to fight. This negative self-harm talk, fear, doubt, insecurity demon that tells me ‘it’s all pointless, why bother, stay in bed, it’s never gonna get better, give up already […] and on and on and on.” — Jeremy Jackson
If this were someone you loved, your brother, sister, partner, or friend, how would you champion them in their constant battle?

About the Campaign
The Imperfectly Perfect Campaign was founded by Glenn Marsden in 2018 as a personal advocacy movement to change how we talk about mental health. Through interviews and authentic storytelling, the campaign has shown that mental health challenges transcend fame, wealth, social status, beliefs, ethnicity, and age.
Since its launch, the campaign has interviewed over 500 individuals across various industries, from actors and athletes to entrepreneurs and community leaders, and generated over 12 million media impressions globally through features in outlets spanning from Australia to Hollywood and beyond.
The campaign focuses on normalising conversations that were once silenced, creating space for authentic dialogue about mental health, and building a future where stigma no longer prevents people from seeking help.
Important: “The Imperfectly Perfect Campaign is Glenn Marsden’s personal mental health advocacy movement and is not a registered charity or nonprofit organisation.
