About
The Imperfectly Perfect Campaign is a mental health advocacy initiative founded by Glenn Marsden with the vision to change how the world sees, speaks about, and supports mental health. Unlike nonprofits or donation-driven organisations, this campaign is self-funded through Glenn’s professional work and powered by purpose, passion, and community.
What began as one person’s mission in 2018 has grown into an advocacy platform that has generated over 12 million media impressions worldwide and featured over 500 individuals sharing their mental health stories.
The campaign provides free, accessible content that raises awareness and sparks real conversations around mental health through a globally ranked podcast, a quarterly digital magazine, articles, community initiatives, and storytelling campaigns that strip away stigma and humanise mental health.
MISSION
Our mission is to change the narrative around mental health, one story at a time. We aim to normalise conversations surrounding mental health through authentic storytelling, and public awareness, creating a world where future generations can live free from the stigmas that have long surrounded mental health challenges.
ETHOS
At the heart of Imperfectly Perfect is the drive to challenge social media perfectionism, corporate silence, and the walls that leave so many feeling alone. We believe in making mental health conversations raw, real, and visible, not hidden behind filters or formalities.
We’re building a world where authenticity leads the way. Where mental health is spoken out loud, with strength, grace, and humanity. Where differences are honoured, and connection becomes healing.
GLENN’S VISION
To create lasting impact through authentic storytelling. Glenn works with individuals and organisations aligned with the mission to spread awareness, education, and advocacy around mental health. This work is for current and future generations, normalising conversations that were once silenced.
The Imperfectly Perfect Campaign is Glenn Marsden’s personal mental health advocacy movement and is not a registered charity or nonprofit organisation. It does not accept donations and is self funded through Glenn’s professional work in speaking, consulting, books and events. The Imperfectly Perfect Podcast is a standalone professional media production hosted by Glenn Marsden. All Enquiries: Imperfectly Perfect Campaign: generalenquiries@imperfectlyperfectcampaign.org
